Introducing the EzCoder and EzControl repeater programming and control tool suite 'Beta' 0.1.1 version.

EzCoder removes much of the confusion when setting up the control commands, ID's, Timers, and ancillary functions of a repeater controller.  With 'pop-up-help' and a logical simplified screen, configuring your controller is quick, complete, and simple.  You can even print out a handy code sheet for reference.

EzControl allows the repeater control operator to quickly issue commands to the repeater without having to fumble for illegible code sheets or deal with under-sized DTMF buttons.  Issuing commands is as simple as hitting a well labeled button-- you can even send audio files to the repeater for announcements or special events.

Both programs are freeware and run on computers using the Microsoft Windows operating system, version 95 and newer.   A sound card is required for the audio and a serial port for the PTT control of your transmitter.

Currently these programs support the Micro Computer Controls RC1000V and RC1000 repeater controllers, with more supported controllers on the way.

Radio Messenger

Radio Messenger is a text chat client for your Windows PC that is similar in operation to the ubiquitous MSN Messenger, Yahoo Messenger, or AOL Instant Messenger in basic operation but utilizes the radio for communication via standard AX.25 packet.

Radio Messenger puts 'pizzazz' into keyboard-to-keyboard text chat by providing for tokenized use of emoticons and sound-icons in addition to providing the usual text chat functionality.

The first beta version of Radio Messenger has just been released (4/8/05). 

The second beta version is slated to include a 'server' version that will allow for the chat client software to reside on a computer across a LAN from the computer that has the radio and TNC connected.   AGWPE compatibility is also coming.

Basic Voter

The Basic Voter is a two receiver voting comparator for use in providing your repeater with dramatically improved reception of mobile stations.   The voter will automatically compare signals from two receivers and select the best receiver to connect to the repeater transmitter.

The Basic Voter is scheduled for release in June 2006.
